Suramya Farmhouse
A trapezoidal form was carved for this eco-friendly farmhouse. The sloping roof articulated in a sculptural manner, formed a main frame and enclosed dynamic and transcendental volumes. The entire exuberance was enhanced by use of raw natural material and organic landscape with a water body. Reflecting the attitudes of the doctor couple to whom the house was designed for.
An icon of integral design, this residence flawlessly combines double height spaces, exceptional terrace and the welcoming entrance in a strong design vocabulary. The door and window design integral to the overall language, punctuate the subtle transition of spaces in a logical sequence. This radical bond of the form and its spaces also ensures sufficient natural light and ventilation.
